my cousin gave this book to me in UK and told me to review this book here..and im quite fond of reading it as theres alot of things and facts about the 420 culture that i dont even know about...such likes on towards the legalising policy, the Cannabis cup, inside Amsterdam, herb throughout religion*even islam* and how the medical marijuana system works..
as for the tight-up ass culture that viewed negatively on this culture..this book is not recommended for you as you will be shocked to find out that almost nearly every region of the world marijuana is being culvated.from the jungles of southeast asia*including indonesia and malaysia* to the quiet metropolitan cities such as Manchester- is smoked for medicinal, recreational and spiritual purposes by an estimated 200 million people worldwide.
In PotPlanet, Brian Preston sets out on a global ganja to explore strange new cannbis cultures, to seek out new growers, activists and other reefer revolutionaries....and to bodly get canned with each of them*in Brunei,u could even get the death penalty over this just because you have it for personal use.*
Preston's journeys take him across every stratum of cultivation and enjoyment,In Cambodia, he encounters Third World Dope Tourism. In California, he looks at the medicinal marijuana movement., while in Britain, Spain and Switzerland, he finds grudging goverments catching up with public tolerance. At the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam he joins the tasting competition at the international summit for breeders , growers and connoisseurs.
Part travelogue, part manifesto for the unfetterd enjoyment of nature's most pleasing herb.Pot Planet is an hilarious odyssey into the mutifaceted world of hemp.
